About

This training is designed to help clinicians assess and treat neurodiverse brains in family therapy. Casey will provide you with education and an overall understanding about what it means to be "neurodivergent" and all of its labels. The understanding of neurodivergence is growing rapidly and more clinicians are being faced with having a limited scope of competence in this area. This training goal will be to prepare clinicians to assess and treat families using blended models to support the different brain needs of family members and help clinicians feel more competent. Come prepared to interact and experience the life of a neurodivergent person. Objectives: • Understand concepts of is neurodivergence and neurodiversity • Understanding the impact of executive functioning challenges • Gain general knowledge of different neurodivergent labels and diagnosis • Gain knowledge about the role of ND in families • Understand how to assess, select treatment modalities and adapt tools for ND families *Before beginning the program, please ensure that you have completed your CBPI account profile including your first and last name as you would like it to appear on your CE certificate (please note this requires completing all sections of the profile, not just your "display name.")
